I have some bad news for all you anti-Gordon fans...Jeff looks even stronger this year than last year. "The Kid" pulled out all the stops in this year's race of all races, the 1999 Daytona 500, and held off Dale Earnhardt to claim his second Daytona 500 win in the last 3 years. If you had the chance to watch it I think you will agree that it was the most exciting races to date and clearly put Jeff in an elite class of NASCAR greats (as if he wasn't there already), and clearly shows that he is a natural.
I think he will undoubtably be known as the greatest driver of all time by the end of his historical NASCAR career. He has clearly raised the bar in Winston Cup racing.
Well, back to the 1999 season.
The next Winston Cup race is the Dura-Lube/Big K 400 at the North Carolina Speedway this Sunday, Feb. 21. It can be seen live on TNN at 12:30pm. Don't miss it.
Well #24 race fans, this is James sayin' thanks for stopping by, and drop in to see what I've got to say next week. God bless.
